Mystery Hill: Polar Dunk

Did you miss the Polar Plunge at Chetola this year? Were you too chicken to give it a go? No worries! We’re offering a Polar Dunk this year during Chill at the Hill on Saturday from 2pm-4pm. Polar Dunkers can choose from a list of charities to donate to and take the plunge for a good cause.

The Polar Dunk will be on Saturday from 2:00pm-4:00pm and is included with your Chill at the Hill ticket if you’re so inclined. You’ll be dropped into a dunking booth and we will provide anyone who takes the dip a thermal blanket, a free cocoa, cider, or coffee. A portion of all Chill at the Hill ticket sales will get donated to a charity for participating in the dunk tank. Mystery Hill will donate money to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Caldwell Humane Society, or the Special Olympics North Carolina.

Festival of Lights at Chetola Resort

Close to 30,000 illuminations light up the lakeside at Chetola beginning at dusk each evening! As you stroll around Chetola Lake, view glittering ice skaters, a colorful train, Rudolph’s “Holiday Catch”, and much more. The Festival of Lights is free and open to the public nightly. Park and walk around Chetola Lake, sipping on hot cocoa (available in Timberlake’s for purchase).
