Do not miss your chance to grab some delicious pancakes at the WinterFest Pancake Breakfast! The event will be inside the Blowing Rock School (Cafeteria) on Sunday, January 29, 2023. The pancakes will be available from 8 am – 10am.
Full Stack $12: 4 made to order pancakes, blueberry-cranberry compote, 2 pieces of meat (choose from bacon or sausage), syrup & butter. Meals will include a hot or cold beverage. There will be hot tea, coffee and orange juice to choose from.
This event is coordinated by, and will benefit, the Blowing Rock School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO provides money for funding a wide variety of teacher requests at the school. Their mission is as follows: “The Blowing Rock School PTO is an organization whose purpose is to enhance the cooperation of parents, teachers and administrators in the promotion of the welfare of the children of Blowing Rock School and to aid in their education. We aspire to help every Rocket reach the stars!” This year, the organization has paid for grade-level specific books, new club startup costs, new gym mats, tripods for teachers seeking board certifications, field trip stipends, school event supplies such as new pop up tents and hot drink dispensers, 8th grade class sweatshirts, teacher appreciation events, a welcome mat with our new logo for the front entry of school, and more. Once again, a small army of volunteers will cook the food right in the cafeteria to serve hot and fresh to guests.
There are no physical tickets for this event; purchase of admission is your reservation. Check-in to be seated.
